TEHRAN– Deputy Director General for European affairs of German Foreign federal Office ambassador Peter Ptassek said Germany is very much interested in keeping Nuclear Deal with Iran alive.
Receiving a group of international think tankers, researchers and journalist participating in “the Future of the EU” event in German Federal Foreign Office, deputy director general for European affairs Ambassador Peter Ptassek said Germany is very much interested in keeping Nuclear Deal with Iran alive.
Answering Payman Yazdani’s question from Mehr News agency about Germany and the EU approach toward possible US withdrawal from the JCPOA, German diplomat said, I don’t deal with the issue and Iran but generally I can say that we are very much interested in keeping the nuclear deal with Iran (JCPOA) alive.
He added, “There is a tendency within EU to do whatever we can to keep it. There is a problem that the US president is not going to renew the sanctions relief in May.”
